Western Carolina University is seeking an Educational Developer I to work with the Coulter Faculty Commons. The role focuses on advancing teaching and learning excellence through consultations, workshops, and events for faculty and staff.
The position requires a Master’s degree and experience in higher education, with preference for a terminal degree and familiarity with Canvas LMS. The successful candidate will collaborate across modalities and campus units.

Coulter Faculty Commons
The Educational Developer I will work directly with faculty and staff as part of the Coulter Faculty Commons (CFC) team to engage in initiatives and provide consultations, workshops, and events that advance teaching and learning excellence in keeping with the University’s mission and strategic goals. This position will also provide services assigned to the Coulter Faculty Commons to advance the CFC mission and vision. This position is exempt from the State of North Carolina Human Resources Act (EHRA).
