Montgomery County Intermediate Unit at PaTTAN - East seeks an Educational Consultant to provide expertise in special education, structured literacy, and English Learners. They support PDE, BSE, and Eastern Region IUs with coaching, TA, and professional development.

The role involves responding to requests, developing trainings for educators, and planning regional/state conferences; some overnight travel is required. Master’s degree and PA certification in one area are required.

Qualifications

Master's degree with PA Instructional Certification in Special Education, ESL, Gen Ed, or School Psychology.
Expertise in English Learner programming preferred.
Experience providing technical assistance, PD, and coaching.

Responsibilities

Respond to PDE and BSE requests for technical assistance.
Respond to eastern region IUs and districts for coaching and TA.
Create and provide professional development for educators and IU personnel.
Plan and participate in regional and statewide conferences, workshops, and planning sessions.
Assist in preparing publication materials (directories, brochures, training modules, manuals, electronic resources).
Some overnight travel is required.
