Job summary

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ParaPro or ParaPathways assessment or equivalent.
• At least 48 baccalaureate-level credits including math and English.
• An associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs various academic and instruction-related support activities; tutors students as directed by the teacher.
• Independently provides social, vocational, and daily living instruction to students with disabilities in school or community settings.
• Independently provides counseling support; develops rapport with students and notes progress and needs.
• Independently provides articulation reinforcement lessons and drills to correct speech sounds as guided by a speech pathologist.
