Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• ParaPro or ParaPathways assessment or 48 credits including English and Math.
• AA/AS or higher from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs various academic, instruction-related support activities as directed by the teacher.
• Provides social, vocational, and daily living instruction to students with disabilities in school or community settings.
• Provides counseling support, builds rapport, observes progress, and carries out activities to promote healthy self-concept.
• Provides articulation reinforcement lessons and drills under guidance of a speech pathologist.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + ParaPro or ParaPathways (ETS)

48 semester credits with 3 in math and 3 in English
