Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an Educational Assistant to provide individualized or group learning support under the Dean's supervision. The role involves assisting in the learning process, delivering professional services for assigned courses, and collaborating with faculty to support student success.
This grant-funded, part-time position is on-site at the Milwaukee Downtown location, with an expected 4 hours per day.
Under the supervision of the Dean, provides individualized or group related learning support to students. Assists in the Learning process by providing professional services for the specific courses the Educational Assistant is assigned to. Work is generally diversified based on individual needs of the instructor and student. Judgment and analysis are required in making decisions within established procedures. Daily responsibilities are completed independently using established policies and general objectives with occasional supervisory contact for policy clarification or interpretation.
Perkins Grant funded position; Bilingual English and another language (i.e. Spanish, Hmong, Arabic, Dari, Burmese, Russian etc.) fluency (able to read, write, and speak in both languages) is highly preferred.

Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields and with at least three (3) or more years of comparable experience.
Bilingual English and another language (i.e. Spanish, Hmong, Arabic, Dari, Burmese, Russian etc.) fluency (able to read, write, and speak in both languages) is highly preferred.
This position supports the General Education Pathway and is available to start immediately.
This position is specially funded limiter-term Grant. Funding is contingent upon the terms of the grant and this position is currently funded through 6/30/27.
Non-exempt, part-time hourly position, with a pay range of $20.65 - $25.83.
Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day between 8 am - 6 pm Monday thru Friday.
100% on site/on person at our Milwaukee Downtown location.
Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited.
Hourly rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicant's employment and educational background as listed on the job application.
