Job summary

Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools’ St. Mary Elementary School is seeking an Educational Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role supports students in all academic areas, tutors students, and administers make-up tests to help students reach their potential. The position runs Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 8AM-3PM, within our faith-based school system that emphasizes Gospel values, academic excellence, and a caring community.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required or preferred.
• Some post-secondary training in education is preferred.
• Comfort working with children in an elementary setting.
• Proficient verbal and math skills for middle school level.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools.
• Provide tutoring and support to students in all academic areas.
• Administer make-up tests as needed.
• Monitor student progress and maintain records.
• Confers with supervising teachers on student needs.
• Perform various duties as assigned by staff.
