Job summary

Living Sky School Division invites applications for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at Cando Community School, commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2027. The role supports classroom learning in small groups and whole class settings, helping students engage, participate, and succeed.

The successful candidate will have at least Grade 12 and childcare experience; post-secondary cert in Early Learning/Childcare is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.
• Promote engagement, participation and success of students through supportive interactions.
• Collaborate with teachers and school team within a flexible schedule and modified calendar.
