Educational Assistant Position for the 2025-2026 School Year

Type of Position

Special Education Educational Assistant. As an Educational Assistant (EA), you will belong to a great team that supports students and teachers in the school and the classroom. An EA provides the necessary support that enables the students to succeed and grow both academically and in their independence. We expect our EA's to be advocates and positive role models for the students and staff they work with in the school. You will be assigned a mentor and will be provided training and resources.

Duty Days/Hours

171 duty days (student contact days)
8:45 am - 3:45 pm

Salary

$18.22 per hour per Educational Assistants Work Agreement

Job Duties

• Provide students with defined supports from their Individualized Education Plans under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Complete 8 hours of Professional Development training (will be paid).
• Collect data on student progress in the general or special education classroom under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Partner with teachers and administrators to provide the best possible educational environment for students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities throughout the school year to best serve students.
