Independent School District 15 in St. Francis, MN, is seeking an Educational Assistant for the Middle School (6-8) to support students and teachers in academic and social development.

The EA will provide defined supports under the Special Education teacher, help collect progress data, and collaborate with staff to create an optimal learning environment. A strong commitment to student growth and inclusion is essential.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma; coursework in child development preferred.
• Experience with children/young adults preferred.

Overview of the Position

As an Educational Assistant (EA), you will belong to a great team that supports students and teachers in the school and classroom. An EA provides the necessary support that enables the students to succeed and grow, both academically and in their independence. We expect our EA's to be advocates and positive role models for the students and staff they work with in the school.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma. Additional coursework in child development and/or experience in working with children/young adults is preferred.
