Qualifications

• At least 23 years of age.

• ABA, Mental Health, Social Service, Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support within the classroom.
• Manage classroom behaviors.
• Report behavioral concerns of students to appropriate staff.
• Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data.
• Maintain classroom order and safety.

Skills

Educational Assistant License

Ability to operate tactfully under stress

Good driving record

Flexibility to change in routines

Education

New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) issued Educational Assistant License

NMPED issued Substitute Teacher License
