The Canton High School is seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as an Educational Assistant for the upcoming school year beginning in August 2026. The Educational Assistant will join a vibrant and supportive team that places a high priority on collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and commitment to the goals of the District and to our students, families and staff.
The Canton High School is an inclusive community for all students and staff and serves over 950 students in grades 9-12, including our 18-22 transitional program. The Canton High School is elevating the educational experience for our students by cultivating a school culture and climate that promotes academic growth and social emotional learning for every student, and ensures high quality teaching and learning through the purposeful design of rigorous and equitable student experiences.
We are eager to find the next member of our team who collaborates with other educators to create the conditions necessary so that every child experiences the true joy of learning, the excitement of achievement, areas of passion, and an authentic sense of belonging in their school.
To provide instructional and supervisory support to students. When applicable, provide support to students following Individual Education Plan (IEP) accommodations and modifications as specified by the supervising teacher, Team Chair and Building Principal.

WORK YEAR: 182 days
