Job summary

Requirements include an Associate degree or two years of college, No Child Left Behind assessment, and a valid Educational Aide III certification. Two years of experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment as required by the No Child Left Behind Act
• Valid educational aide III certification*
• Two years of experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Supervise students assigned to in-school suspension (ISS) and maintain a structured environment
• Work with certified teachers to support instructional activities and assignments
• Distribute, collect, and check student assignments for accuracy; maintain student files
• Manage student behavior according to district policies and IEPs
• Assist in professional development and district safety procedures
