Purpose
In-office role; currently 3 days a week in-office. Based in Raleigh, NC. The Education & Training Specialist II, Internal Training, Global Support, will design, deliver, and continuously improve employee onboarding and training programs to prepare employees to perform roles effectively. Working closely with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders, this position develops and facilitates engaging learning solutions that incorporate self-directed, facilitated, and blended learning experiences grounded in Adult Learning Theory. This role serves as a trusted learning and workforce readiness partner across the organization, advising on, developing, and coordinating learning and development initiatives that drive knowledge mastery, operational readiness, and long-term professional growth. This role partners cross-functionally to build role-based curricula, maintain training content, and develop ongoing learning opportunities aligned with evolving business needs, products, services, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Global Support Enablement
- Partner with Global Support leadership and technical subject matter experts to develop onboarding, role-based learning paths, product training, technical readiness programs, and workforce readiness initiatives that support employee effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Create and maintain learning content that supports product knowledge, troubleshooting, customer service skills, case management procedures, escalation workflows, platform adoption and readiness for product releases, enhancements, support processes, and organizational changes.
- Leverage support metrics, quality findings, customer experience insights, learner feedback, and recurring support trends to identify knowledge gaps, prioritize training initiatives, and improve operational performance.
Learning Strategy & Program Management
- Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding programs, role-based curricula, employee development pathways, and learning roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities, workforce planning, and long-term growth objectives.
- Identify emerging learning needs and develop scalable training solutions that support evolving business requirements, product changes, process improvements, and organizational readiness.
Instructional Design & Content Development
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions including eLearning, facilitated experiences, assessments, proficiency validations, job aids, reference materials, multimedia assets, and performance support resources using instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.
Learning Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate engaging instructor‑led, virtual, and blended learning experiences that promote learner participation, knowledge transfer, skill development, and performance improvement.
- Manage learning delivery methods, technologies, and logistics to ensure an effective and seamless learner experience.
AI-Enabled Responsibilities (Core To Role)
- Leverage AI-powered tools and learning technologies to accelerate content development, enhance training delivery, improve learning engagement, and support knowledge retention, skill development, and workforce readiness.
- Utilize AI-enabled analytics and insights to identify skills gaps, recommend targeted development opportunities, improve curriculum effectiveness, optimize training strategies, and support data-driven learning decisions.
- Develop and apply repeatable AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall learning content quality and training effectiveness.
- Apply AI tools responsibly, ensuring:
- Compliance with organizational, regulatory, and data privacy standards.
- Accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of generated content.
- Test, adopt, and support the integration of AI tools into learning design, content development, and training delivery workflows, and share learnings and best practices with the team.
- Ensure consistency between AI-generated outputs and Clinisys learning standards, content governance requirements, and brand guidelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Consulting
- Partner with subject matter experts, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning needs, recommend instructional strategies, and develop effective workforce readiness and performance improvement solutions.
- Serve as a trusted learning consultant by providing recommendations on instructional approaches, content strategies, and development plans aligned with organizational goals.
Learning Operations & Content Governance
- Manage learning content, curricula, and resources within enterprise learning systems and repositories, ensuring materials remain accurate, accessible, current, compliant, and aligned with knowledge management practices.
- Coordinate learning operations, reporting, curriculum administration, workforce readiness activities, and adoption efforts supporting new products, services, processes, technologies, and organizational changes.
- Advise business stakeholders on workforce readiness strategies, learning priorities, and performance improvement initiatives.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and analyze training metrics, readiness reports, assessments, and learning analytics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify knowledge gaps, measure workforce readiness, and drive continuous improvement.
Brand & Quality Alignment
- Ensure all learning materials, assessments, and curricula comply with Clinisys instructional design standards, quality requirements, brand guidelines, and workforce readiness objectives.
- Ensure training content follows established review processes and complies with QARA requirements, FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory standards.
Digital Asset Management
- Maintain training assets, materials, and supporting resources within approved repositories and LMS, ensuring proper organization, version control, accessibility, and governance.
AI & Digital Skills
- Ability to use AI‑assisted tools for content creation, instructional design, or productivity workflows.
- Ability to evaluate AI‑generated outputs for accuracy and brand alignment.
- Curiosity and willingness to adopt new digital tools and workflows.
