Job summary

The Florida Department of Corrections seeks a Systems Project Analyst to oversee and support educational technology programs in Region II, Academic Services II. You will manage resources, train staff, coordinate with stakeholders and evaluate instructional technology use.

This on-site role reports to the FDC office, requires collaboration with IT and regional administrators on budgets, and demands strong curriculum design and training skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques, design of individual development plans, and test design principles.
• Experience operating equipment including computers, copiers, interactive whiteboards, tablet-based technologies, data projectors, and other current technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages educational technology programs and resources according to current policies.
• Trains staff on how to use and maintain learning labs and technology services.
• Coordinates with local IT and technology vendors about educational technology needs.
• Works with regional administrators to handle budgets and spending for technology resources.
• Visits sites and helps evaluate how well instructional technology programs are working.
