Position Overview:

The Yarmouth School Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Educational Technician beginning the 2025-2026 school year. This position is part of our Instructional Support programming, working with Special Education teachers and supporting students with Individualized Education Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under the direction of Special Education teachers.

Provide both academic and social-emotional assistance in classroom settings.

Work collaboratively within the Instructional Support team.

Qualifications:

Educational Technician III certification from the Maine Department of Education (or the ability to obtain certification).

Experience working with students with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
