Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Education Technician III to support behavior intervention plans in school settings. The role involves implementing ABA services under supervision and collaborating with educators to reach learning goals.

The position is contract-full-time with 35 hours weekly, located in Old Orchard Beach, ME, at a pay rate of $30 per hour. RBT certification or CBT license is required or applicable per contract, with supervision by a BCBA/BCABA and annual health-related

Qualifications

• Requires RBT certification and/or CBT license as applicable.
• Supervision by a BCBA/BCABA client supervisor.
• Minimum one year relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• CPR certification current.
• Health certificate and TB/PPD per contract or regulation.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans and ABA services as designed by supervising BCBA/BCABA.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
• Support ABA services in educational settings as part of a team.

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works toimplement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Techniciancan support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeuticservices designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/orState Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable perstate/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
