Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a part-time School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician in San Jose, CA. The role involves implementing behavioral intervention plans and delivering ABA-informed services in school settings under supervision.

The candidate should hold RBT or CBT certification, have a minimum of one year of relevant experience if possible, and meet all state and federal requirements. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• RBT certification and/or CBT license as applicable per state/contract.
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
