Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Education Technician (Ed Tech) in Brunswick, ME. This contract-full-time position pays $30 per hour and involves implementing ABA-based education and behavior plans under supervision.

The role supports students with special needs and collaborates with BCBA/BCABA supervisors to meet learning goals.

Qualifications

• Requires RBT certification and/or CBT license where applicable.
• Supervision by a BCBA or BCABA is required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• CPR/health clearance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for individuals with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals.
• Support ABA services designed by a BCBA supervisor.

Location: Brunswick, ME

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works toimplement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Techniciancan support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeuticservices designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/orState Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable perstate/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
