Job summary

Alternative Creative Concepts LLC seeks an Information & Communication Technology in Education Consultant for a short-term technical assistance effort. The role involves gathering insights on how education technology advances USAID priorities, conducting literature reviews and KIIs, and delivering a Best Practice Report and slide deck.

Remote work is possible, with collaboration across USAID missions and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
Experience in education technology or related field.
Knowledge of LMIC contexts preferred.
Strong research and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with USAID to determine aspects of education technology to review and identify appropriate activities and their operating units.
Conduct a comprehensive literature review of sources including websites and reports.
Design interview questions and develop a plan for conducting remote KIIs with Mission Staff and stakeholders.
Execute planned KIIs, engaging remotely with stakeholders.
Prepare a Best Practice Report outlining findings, lessons learned, and recommended practices.
Conduct two rounds of review and revision for the Best Practice Report.
Develop a slide deck with key conclusions from the report.
Collaborate to develop a dissemination plan and editorial calendar.
Provide technical backstopping to the ICT4E Advisor’s portfolio.
