Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in school district IT is desirable.
• Formal training in technology integration in education.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the district’s IT systems and technology activities.
• Assesses hardware/software malfunctions and ensures network operations and security.
• Develops and delivers technology training for district staff.
• Leads LAN development to support productivity.
• Supports instruction by integrating technology with curriculum.
• Develops IT procedures and enforces quality controls.
• Provides leadership and supervision of IT staff and hiring.
• Resolves network and system issues through troubleshooting.
• Researches current technology trends and vendors.
• Maintains inventory and records of equipment.
• Generates reports and communications on projects.
• Recommends IT policies and strategic actions.
