Position: Education Systems Implementation Engineer
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week (up to 40 hours/week available)
Duration: 1–2 months
Role Responsibilities
- Write, review, and validate API-focused prompts used to train and evaluate AI systems
- Apply real-world education software experience to ensure prompts reflect authentic instructional, academic, and research workflows
- Design scenarios related to learning platforms, academic tools, and research systems (e.g., course delivery, analytics dashboards, survey tools)
- Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, clarity, and real-world feasibility
- Document assumptions, workflows, and system behaviors clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders while meeting quality standards
Requirements
- Strong experience building or supporting education technology, e-learning platforms, or academic/research software
- Familiarity with APIs and systems used in learning management, surveys, analytics, or academic data services
- Experience working with platforms such as LMS tools, survey systems, or education-related data integrations
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with educators and researchers
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
