Job summary

The Summit Center in Western New York is seeking an Education Support Staff member to assist in classrooms, supporting instruction and behavior plans under supervision. The role requires a high school diploma and offers a stable, supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include data tracking, home/school communication, and adherence to core values. Training for SCIP-R and Ukeru will be provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Six months of direct clinical or educational experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• SCIP-R certification and Ukeru certification to be provided by agency.

Responsibilities

• Support student instruction under teacher supervision.
• Implement behavior plans and monitor student progress.
• Perform tasks to maintain an effective classroom environment.
• Maintain home/school communication and required documentation.
• Data tracking for lesson plans and student progress.
• Adhere to agency values and employment policies.
