Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the special services teacher and students as assigned
• Lift students and help with personal care as needed
• Assist students in completing assignments and moving around the building
• Provide services to students as directed by the teacher
• Demonstrate ability to work with disabled populations and use appropriate classroom strategies
• Communicate effectively with students and staff
• Assist in organizing classroom to promote learning
• Follow teachers' guidelines and district policies
• Participate in professional growth activities
• Complete other duties as assigned by the administrator
