**Expectations of our RN Educator:**

• Demonstrates expertise in the teaching/learning process and assists management and clinical staff in developing and providing educational programs.
• Utilizes Prophecy Assessments to identify learning needs and assists in addressing them.
• Collaboratively develops and performs needs assessments to determine developmental and educational needs.
• Assesses critical thinking, interpersonal relations, and technical skills of staff to aid in categorization of orientation and staff development.
• Communicates with staff to facilitate development of their clinical, management, and research skills.
• Promotes career advancement including clinical ladder and differentiated practice through mentorship.
• Consults with management and clinical staff to coordinate effective preceptor and mentor programs.
• Works with management to develop, revise, and implement cost-effective, patient-outcomes-driven educational programs, tools, and materials for all nursing staff.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse and BLS certification required.
• Three (3) years of clinical education experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of instructional design and principles of adult learning.

**Pay Range**

$33.60 - $48.73 per hour
