Job summary

Straz Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Patel Conservatory Space and Equipment Lead Coordinator to provide operational support for Education Department classes and events. The role involves managing space readiness, coordinating schedules, and assisting with equipment for performances and camps.

The position requires a flexible schedule with evenings and Saturdays, and may involve close work with Conservatory Production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; theater equipment experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; able to pass a Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with space and equipment needs for classes and events.
• Create and maintain daily/weekly operational schedules.
• Coordinate classroom, rehearsal, and performance space readiness.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and transportation of equipment for events.
