Overview

This role involves developing and managing large-scale sales pipelines, securing multimillion-dollar contracts, and transforming educational outcomes through AI-driven solutions. The position requires strong connections within Texas or California school districts, extensive experience in K-12 sales, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage a $10M+ sales pipeline by identifying high-potential districts, engaging decision-makers, and advancing sales opportunities.
  2. Present tailored proposals and guide procurement processes to close six and seven-figure contracts.
  3. Conduct discovery sessions to understand district challenges and craft impactful solutions.
  4. Manage all stages of complex sales cycles with full territory ownership.
  5. Leverage existing relationships within public school districts to expedite adoption.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Following rigid scripts or processes—enjoy the autonomy to develop your territory strategy.
  • Selling non-transformative, supplementary products.
  • Getting bogged down in bureaucracy—focus on results.
  • Micromanaging daily activities—own your outcomes.
Basic Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex K-12 sales cycles and closing deals over $100K.
  • Strong network of district decision-makers in Texas or California.
  • Experience navigating public school procurement processes, including RFPs/RFIs.
  • Proven track record maintaining a $10M+ sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to work independently across the entire sales cycle.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales technology tools.
  • Reside within or near Texas or California (within 2 hours).
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%).
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
