The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking an operations leader skilled in financial, administrative, and business functions to apply for the Education Services Operations Manager position.
Under administrative direction, this position plans, directs, organizes, and internal operational, fiscal, and administrative services for the Curriculum and Instructional Services division.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, education administration, accounting, finance, organizational management, or other field closely related to the job requirements of this classification, from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Five years of experience managing business, fiscal, administrative, and program operations (e.g., budget administration, grants and contracts, compliance, personnel/workforce operations, and organizational systems) in an educational setting, including two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
Candidates who meet the minimum requirements above will be invited to participate in an examination that may consist of a technical project and structured interview.
