Job summary

Nebraska Children and Families Foundation seeks a Senior Researcher, Education to manage day-to-day operations of the U.S. Department of Education EIR Mid-Phase grant.

The role focuses on logistics, data coordination, partner communication, and reporting for a three-arm RCT across multiple cohorts. You will work with the Principal Researcher, external evaluator, and state partners to ensure timely, accurate data collection, interpretation, and reporting for continuous improvement and grant

Qualifications

• Familiarity with education research, evaluation, or program implementation.
• Experience supporting data collection, data coordination, or research administration.
• Ability to organize and synthesize data for reporting purposes.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret data findings for required reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse partners.
• Experience with contract tracking or grant administration.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Researcher in managing all project aspects, including timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate logistics, data coordination, and reporting for day-to-day operations.
• Maintain regular communication with external evaluators, partners, and funders.
• Compile formative data and support its use for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate data collection cycles, scheduling, and materials preparation.
• Interpret data findings for required reporting and funder communications.
• Prepare data summaries and materials for grant reporting.
• Assist in tracking grant contracts, status, timelines, and approvals.
• Maintain organized project documentation for compliance.
• Support leadership teams and workgroups as needed, including recruitment engagement with partners.
• Flag risks related to timelines, data collection, or partner communications.
