Job summary

Huron is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate in Research Security Compliance to lead project work streams for institutional governance and compliance. You will collaborate with university and healthcare leaders to enhance effectiveness and drive transformation of research security administration.

Responsibilities include guiding projects on research security, export control, and governance, while managing junior team members and delivering comprehensive solutions across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Current U.S. work authorization required.
• Minimum of 3 years in consulting, higher education, healthcare, or relevant field.
• Experience in research security and/or export control in a university, hospital, or research institute.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and discuss preferences with recruiter.

Required qualifications

• Current U.S. work authorization required
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, Higher Education, Healthcare, or relevant work experience
• Direct experience working in a research security and / or export control office or function of a university, hospital, or research institute.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred qualifications

• Export Compliance Professional (ECoP®) certification preferred
• Experience in secure research, conflicts of interest, conflicts of commitment, research operations, and/or regulatory compliance
• Previous consulting experience

The estimated base salary for this job is 100,000- $145,000 The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $115,000 - $166,750.

The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
