Husch Blackwell is seeking an Education Senior Counsel with eight years of experience to advise private, religious, and public educational institutions on education regulatory landscapes, licensing, accreditation, and employment law. The role may be based in any office or the virtual office, The Link, with a strong emphasis on serving K-12 education providers.

Qualifications

• At least eight years advising educational institutions.
• Active bar license in the relevant state or plan to obtain one.
• Experience with FERPA, Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, EPA, ADA and related laws.
• Experience guiding schools on licensing, accreditation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on education regulatory landscapes and compliance.
• Assist with employment law aspects affecting educational institutions.
• Advise on state-specific licensing and accreditation for new openings.
