Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Education Senior Counsel to join our national firm. The ideal candidate has at least eight years of experience advising private, religious, and public educational institutions and education service providers on regulatory landscapes, licensing, accreditation, and employment matters, with emphasis on K-12.

Bar admission in the relevant state is expected or commitment to obtaining one promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience advising private, religious, and public educational institutions of all levels and educational service providers.
• Familiarity with FERPA, Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, EPA, ADA, Section 504, IDEA, and ADEA.

Responsibilities

• Advise on education regulatory landscapes, licensing, accreditation, and operational compliance for schools opening nationwide.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action to clients with complex education-related matters.
