Job summary

Western Nevada College in Carson City seeks a Continuing Education Assistant to support administrative tasks and deliver excellent customer service within our Continuing Education program. This student position requires work-study eligibility and is designed to fit with a student's schedule.

Compensation is $13.50 per hour, with 20 hours per week during the regular semester; eligibility criteria include 6 credits, good academic standing, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); Google Docs a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and file documents chronologically and alphabetically.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Conversational Spanish is a plus.
• Must be a student enrolled in at least 6 credits at Western Nevada College.

Responsibilities

• Complete administrative tasks and provide excellent customer service for Continuing Education programs.
• Assist with ongoing operations and student support within Continuing Education.
