Job summary

Georgia Aquarium, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Education Operation Specialist, PT Level 1, to provide administrative, operational, and guest services support for education programs and community engagement.

This role supports enrollment, scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful program delivery and guest experiences. You will manage school group and homeschool enrollment, assist with event coordination, and help with daily operations on-site and off-site,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year in administrative support, customer service, data management, or event coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of Tessitura Point of Sale system preferred but not required.
• Ability to organize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external guests.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports and verify program data for school groups, homeschool, and camps.
• Greet and check in homeschool guests for the Tuesdays in the Field program.
• Provide daily operational and logistical support for on-site and off-site programs.
• Support Community Connections through stakeholder communication and logistics.
• Deliver exceptional guest service with professionalism and hospitality.
• Adhere to GA Aquarium policies, safety standards, and assist with other duties.
• Collaborate with Aquarium departments to maximize participation.
• Perform other duties as workload necessitates.
