Qualifications

• Program development, project management and facilitation experience
• Conversational Spanish fluency
• Familiarity with comprehensive food systems and STEAM subjects
• Teaching background and ability to work with diverse communities
• Experience managing budgets and reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of community education programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives
• Oversee design and delivery of engaging educational experiences using evidence-based teaching practices
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, businesses, and community partners
• Coach and develop the Community Education team, fostering accountability and professional growth
• Oversee program operations, scheduling, documentation, contracts, reporting, and compliance
• Manage departmental budgets and support long-term program sustainability
• Collaborate with internal departments to integrate learning outcomes and organizational priorities
• Lead day-to-day operations of Community Education programs and outreach initiatives
• Represent the organization with community partners and stakeholders

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education or related discipline
