Job summary

Wexner Medical Center seeks an Education Program Specialist within the Office of Curriculum and Scholarship to plan and coordinate faculty development activities and support educational technology, instructional design, program evaluation and educational research services.

The role oversees daily office operations, coordinates activities to ensure smooth functioning, and provides administrative, logistical and marketing support to advance education programs across the College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree in education, communication or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience required. Program planning and administration required; experience in planning and organizing workshops/conferences preferred; experience with MS Office preferred; experience developing program and instructional materials desired.
• Requires successful completion of a background check. Pre-employment physical including a drug screen may be required.

The Education Program Specialist in the Office of Curriculum and Scholarship (OCS) within the College of Medicine plans and coordinates faculty development activities; supports educational technology, instructional design, program evaluation, and educational research services offered by OCS, oversees, organizes and coordinates daily activities and functions to ensure office success; and provides administrative, logistical and marketing support.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree in education, communication or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications

2 years of relevant experience required. Program planning and administration required, preferably in a higher education setting preferred; experience in the planning and organization of workshops and conferences preferred; experience with MS Office preferred; experience developing program and instructional materials desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
