Job summary

Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice and Empowerment in East San José is seeking a full-time Lead Education Coordinator to lead the After School Program, supervise education staff, and ensure high-quality program implementation.

The role supports student success through the 2-Gen framework, embraces California Common Core Standards, and partners with families and community partners to advance equity and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required or in progress.
• Teaching credential preferred for the Lead Education Coordinator role.
• Experience leading educational programs in nonprofit or school settings a plus.
• Familiarity with California Common Core Standards and social-emotional learning is desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and review of lesson plans and program operations.
• Supervise and coach education staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Ensure program quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate family engagement, partner with community organizations.
• Manage attendance, reporting, and program documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
