Job Summary

This is a part-time position (~30 hours/week) based in Roseburg, Oregon, serving Douglas County with the Division of Extension and Engagement’s Family and Community Health (FCH) Program at Oregon State University.

The EPA2 will:

  • Offer programs and classes promoting healthy eating habits and active lifestyles;
  • Develop programs and collaborate with community partners, initiating changes with input from coordinators;
  • Work with schools, food banks, and non-profits, requiring travel to various sites;
  • Coordinate regional food security and safety outreach, including the OSU Master Food Preserver program;
  • Lead and coordinate volunteers from diverse backgrounds;
  • Support the FCH team in designing, developing, and delivering educational programming with an emphasis on accessibility, inclusion, and social justice;
  • Utilize digital communication tools to enhance access and engagement.
