Job summary

Strada Education Foundation is offering a Policy Intern position as part of its summer internship program. The role supports the policy team in advancing the policy agenda at federal and state levels and preparing technical assistance for policymakers.

Responsibilities include content development (memos, landscape analyses, policy memos) and project management tasks such as meeting agendas, notes, and PowerPoint creation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or accepted into a postsecondary education or training program (college, apprenticeship, boot camp, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; Zoom and Slack are a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Content development for policy memos, background analyses, and landscape analyses.
• Support preparation for technical assistance to policymakers through advocacy efforts.
• Assist with meeting agendas, notes, and PowerPoint development.
• Participate in meetings with grantees and potential grantees.
• Project management tasks related to internship activities.
