The EcoHero Show inspires 5-11-year-olds to become EcoHeroes through hip-hop, storytelling, and live performances that show how local actions can have a global impact. We’ve reached over 1.5 million students at 3,000+ schools through school shows, livestreams, and books – and we’re just getting started.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Education Partnerships Director to help shape and scale our national field trip concert model. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the education space, particularly working with schools and administrators. You’ll collaborate closely with our outreach and grant managers to build scalable systems, grow school partnerships, and lead the strategy to bring EcoHero to classrooms and theaters nationwide. This is a high-impact, collaborative role for someone who thrives in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment and knows how to turn relationships and strategy into real-world reach. We currently perform around 500 in person individual school assemblies per year. Your job is to get us to 500 field trip theatre events per year!

This is a Full-Time, remote role.

We are looking for an Education Partnerships Director, specifically with these requirements:

• Experience scaling school partnerships or student-focused initiatives, ideally at a national or multi-regional level.
• Strong network in the education sector, with a track record of building relationships with schools, districts, or education organizations.
• Proven ability to create strategies for school engagement (e.g., field trip participation, group attendance) and support the outreach team in execution.
• Experience collaborating on grant strategy – identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and aligning programs with funding requirements.
• Skilled in developing systems and processes that enable scalable, streamlined operations.
• Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience managing teams (staff, contractors, or freelancers).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, and mission-driven environment.

Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):

• Translating the company’s vision into clear operational strategies, systems, and processes that enable scale.
• Advising and collaborating on how to position EcoHero within the school system (e.g., as enrichment, field trip-worthy, and tied to curriculum).
• Leveraging relationships with schools, administrators, and education networks to introduce and expand the program.
• Crafting strategy and messaging that resonates with educators and decision-makers.
• Overseeing all logistics for live theatre field trip events, including venue bookings, performer schedules, travel, and on-site operations.
• Building and managing a team to support growth of the ticketed field trip concert business.
• Implementing and refining outreach systems (CRM, lead generation, cold outreach) to drive engagement.
• Partnering with the grant manager to identify funding opportunities and align programs with grant requirements.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and efficient use of grant funds and sponsorship deliverables.
