Job summary

Goalbook seeks a Sales Account Executive focused on Southern California and the West to expand our impact with district and school leaders, drive new business, and represent Goalbook at education events. This role requires building relationships, navigating complex discussions, and maintaining a healthy pipeline with Salesforce.

Travel is estimated at 30% and the ideal candidate is based in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in SaaS or SaaS services with a track record of exceeding quotas.
• Strong connection and passion for education.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and persuasion skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospects through each stage of our consultative sales process, aligning our evidence-based work with district priorities.
• Use a structured sales methodology to qualify opportunities and tailor solutions for educators.
• Engage in conferences and regional events to build relationships and generate momentum.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by meeting revenue goals, tracking engagement, and keeping Salesforce up to date.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Renewals to ensure a smooth transition from new sale to long-term impact; identify upsell opportunities and growth in the Northeast; travel 30%.
