Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 60 credits, Associate's Degree or higher, or Paraprofessional exam required.
• Ability to obtain Ohio Teacher's Educational Aide Certification.
• Complete 45 hours of required trainings in child development and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in providing educational benefits for students.
• Work with students on academic tasks and physical needs.
• Prepare materials and operate classroom or mobility assistive tech.
• Assist with transitions between classes within 4 minutes passing time.
• Support/assist students boarding and exiting transportation.
• Assist with delegated nursing duties as trained.
