Job summary

The Academies of Math and Science in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Paraprofessional (Teacher’s Assistant) to support teachers and students. You will provide individualized and small-group support, assist with classroom tasks, and help maintain a positive, structured learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and experience with children; bilingual English/Spanish and Level One IVP clearance are a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Substitute for lead teachers as needed to ensure uninterrupted learning.
• Prepare instructional materials, resources, and assist with grading or documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and staff to meet students' academic and social‑emotional needs.
• Model professionalism, respect, and high expectations in interactions.
