Job summary

Qualifications

• MSN or related field is required.
• RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of six years of nursing experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Certification in Professional Development/Education, Leadership or Clinical Specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages onboarding processes, competency processes, and assesses learning needs of clinical staff; develops education plans and may educate or facilitate learning experiences.
• Manages new hire orientations and onboarding; oversees preceptor development and unit-based skills education for float staff, nurse residency, and nursing students.
• Collaborates with leadership, Professional Development, and other stakeholders on education, competency, and staff development needs of clinical staff.
• Educates or presents in formal classroom settings or informal sessions and facilitates education, skills day training, just-in-time training, or other learning opportunities.
• Partakes in committees or projects as identified by leadership; serves as communication partner to disseminate information using adult learning principles.
