Job summary

Woodinville Montessori School is seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team in Bothell, WA. This key, full-time position, starting July 1, 2026, involves overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, fund accounting, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of progressive finance experience, strong nonprofit accounting background, and CPA credentials preferred. Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience working with boards and external auditors.
• First Aid/CPR certification, TB test, and successful national/state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and nonprofit fund accounting.
• Prepare financial statements, annual budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead annual audit and IRS Form 990 preparation.
• Partner with the Board and Finance Committee on reporting and strategy.
