Stratus in Tampa is seeking a Market Director to lead the Education & Public Sector market across K-12 and Higher Education projects. You will guide strategy, delivery, client relationships, and financial performance while shaping a high-performing, licensed architectural team.

The role requires a Registered Architect with 15+ years in educational design and a track record of growth. Hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for leadership development are offered as part of Stratus’

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Registered Architect with active licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Market Leader in executing strategic, operational, and growth initiatives for Educational clients in Tampa.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with design excellence.
• Provide architectural leadership and oversight to ensure rigorous design and documentation.
• Lead resource planning and staffing to align talent with Educational client needs.
• Manage revenue forecasts, backlog, utilization, and project profitability.
• Support business development through proposals, interviews, and client relationships.
• Represent the market with school districts, universities, and independent schools.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with contracts and procurement processes.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and staff development across offices.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and QA/QC.
