Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in education, youth programming, program management, nonprofit programs, or related fields.
  • Experience working with K-12 schools and educators.
  • Experience coordinating events, projects, programs, or community initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
  • Experience with entrepreneurship education, business education, workforce development, or financial literacy is a plus.

Help Bring Entrepreneurship to Life for the Next Generation

Junior Achievement of Greater Miami is home to one of the largest JA Company Program implementations in the Junior Achievement network. Through entrepreneurship programs, students gain hands‑on experience launching and operating businesses, developing innovative ideas, managing investments, pitching solutions, and learning directly from business professionals and community volunteers.

We are seeking an Education Manager, Entrepreneurship Programs to help bring these experiences to life for students across Miami‑Dade County.

Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Education, Curriculum & Quality, this role coordinates entrepreneurship programming, supports educators, engages community partners and volunteers, manages student events and competitions, tracks program outcomes, and helps ensure high‑quality experiences for students, teachers, volunteers, and partners.

What You’ll Do
Program Coordination & Management
  • Coordinate the implementation of Junior Achievement entrepreneurship programs across participating schools.
  • Support program quality and ensure implementation aligns with Junior Achievement standards.
  • Monitor participation, outcomes, and program impact.
  • Maintain program records, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with continuous program improvement and opportunities for growth.
Entrepreneurship Programs
Support The Implementation And Growth Of Programs Including
  • JA Company Program
  • JA Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF)
  • Entrepreneurship semester courses
  • Pitch competitions
  • Student showcases
  • Other entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives
School & Educator Partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, teachers, academy leaders, and district personnel.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for participating educators.
  • Provide training, support, and resources to help schools successfully implement programs.
  • Identify opportunities to expand entrepreneurship programming and student participation.
Volunteer & Community Engagement
  • Support the volunteer component of entrepreneurship programs by working closely with internal team members and community partners.
  • Collaborate with JA Miami staff to help ensure volunteers, mentors, judges, speakers, and business professionals are successfully integrated into student experiences, competitions, and events.
  • Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders who contribute to program success.
Student Events & Competitions
  • Coordinate the annual JA Company Program local competition.
  • Support implementation of the JA Student Managed Investment Fund and Pitch Competition.
  • Coordinate student showcases, trade fairs, recognition events, and entrepreneurship experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, communications, scheduling, participant coordination, and event execution.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Education, Curriculum & Quality and other JA Miami team members to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Collaborate across departments to support student impact, volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and organizational initiatives.
  • Contribute to organization-wide programs, events, and priorities as needed.
