UW-Stevens Point seeks a Lecturer of Education to support the School of Education on a per‑course basis, with a continuous recruitment approach to build a candidate pool for future opportunities.

Lecturers are hired term-by-term with workloads ranging 1–12 credits per semester. This position focuses on developing instruction and delivering courses both in person and online, contingent on department needs and student enrollment.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in an appropriate field.
• Evidence of successful teaching in PK-12 and/or in higher education.
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated expertise and experience in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
