Job summary

Cats Protection is seeking an Education Manager to lead a learning pillar, develop a team of Education Officers and drive accessible, evidence-informed education services. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver education initiatives, support engagement, and contribute to positive behaviour change across the charity.

The role requires building relationships with volunteers and stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and delivering outcomes aligned with the new Education strategy.

Qualifications

• Track record of developing and delivering high-quality education, engagement or public-awareness activities
• Ability to translate strategy into practical plans and implement them
• Experience leading people, projects or services to deliver outcomes
• Experience using feedback and insight to improve services or resources
• Inclusive and supportive leadership style with commitment to accessibility and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our Education pillars, turning strategy into plans, programmes and outcomes
• Manage and develop a team of Education Officers, creating an inclusive and high-performing culture
• Oversee delivery of education initiatives that build knowledge and support positive behaviour change
• Build relationships with colleagues, volunteers and stakeholders to maximise impact
• Act as senior Education contact for designated geographic areas
• Manage priorities and resources across the pillar to achieve outcomes
• Use feedback and evaluation to improve resources, programmes and services
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement
• Create an inclusive culture that supports autonomy and accountability
• Work with Head of Education to deliver an impactful Education service
