The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of relevant experience, be admitted to the California Bar, and possess strong writing and oral advocacy skills while sharing a commitment to workers’ rights and the labor movement.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of experience in labor and employment law or related fields.
• Strong academic credentials including a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
• Excellent writing and effective oral advocacy skills; commitment to labor movement and workers’ rights; experience in labor-side or public-interest law is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent members in Education matters, disciplinary actions, credentialing issues, and disputes with employers.
• Advise and counsel on a wide range of employment-related issues to union and non-union clients.
• Manage intake and handle approximately 20-30 cases per month; thrive in a fast-paced environment.
