The Studio Museum in Harlem is seeking an Education Intern to assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of school, family, and teen programs, including Lil’ Studio, Studio Sundays, and Teen Studio. Ideal candidates are undergraduates, graduates, or recent graduates preparing for careers in Arts Education, Museum Education, Arts Administration, Fine Arts, Art History, or related fields.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Passion for working with families and youth a must.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of school, family and teen programs such as Lil’ Studio, Studio Sundays, and Teen Studio.
Conduct research to support departmental priorities and improve tools and methods for community needs.
Support Studio Museum educators during group visits and participate in team meetings.
Engage in general departmental tasks and help with hands-on community programming at events across Harlem.
